Dealing With My Weekly Recipe Needs
I am a recipe junkie. I am in recipe groups, I get recipe RSS feeds, I subscribe to recipe newsletters. Every once in a while I do a new search for "free recipe newsletters" on Google. For the last many months the top 2 results have been very consistent.
I actually get newsletters from both, and have been very pleased. FoodClassics.com's newsletter is very plain text; and I like that. No HTML, no click tracking, no open tracking -- just a newsletter. Sometimes they have offers that you can click on for products, but nothing that overwhelms the content. The one thing that turned me off to the FoodNetwork newsletter is all of the data they try to capture about you. You have to wonder if they are using/selling that data. Regardless, they do have good content.
I don't think you will go wrong with newsletters from either site.
